Old Lord Of Sipan, Moche, AD. 300

The reconstruction shows El Viejo Señor de Sipán seated on a bench in a throne house. He wears the regalia of the octopus god, which includes a gold and silver pectoral, depicting the curved tentacles of an octopus. The reconstruction is based on archaeological finds and iconographic analysis. The bracelets consist of thousends of tiny beads made of gold, lapislazuli and Shell. The headdress is decorated with flamingo feathers imported from what is now Chile.
