Galo Lady, Costa Rica, AD 400
The painting of the upper body consists of two halves, one indicating the skin of a serpent, the other indicating the fur of a jaguar. The halves are related to cosmological concepts. The reconstruction is based on a ceramic figure done in the Galo style. The earspools of the lady are made of gold like those that were found in numerous graves.
