A Chimú official on his way to the textile workshop. Draft.
In the background a part of the Nik-An Palace (former Palacio Tschudi), Chan Chan capital. The kingdom of Chimor was the greatest rival of the Inca, which was later conquered by the Inca emperor Topa Inca Yupanqui around 1470. There are very few reconstructions of Chimu, and especially of its impressive architecture, which is my motivation for this painting.
